Dr Becker was my doctor in AZ back in the 80s. I'm sorry to hear he passed away.

He must have known what he was doing, because I'm still here.

My deepest sympathy to the Becker family. Although it's been over 18 years since I moved back to Chicago from Scottsdale, I have very fond memories of the excellent care Dr. Becker always gave.

And hello to Blanch.

Dear Mrs. Becker and family,

may I express my sincere sympathy and offer my condolences to all of you at the loss of your husband, father and grandfather.

Dr. Becker was a great man and touched the lives of many for good. He will surely be remembered fondly by so many people. I was personally saddened by his death.

In the few years that I worked for Dr. Becker he taught me many things by his example and by his tutelage.

One memory that will remain with me was when Dr. Loyal Davis (Nancy Reagan's father) came into the office for an exam. Dr.Becker asked me personally to be the one to do the prep work on Dr. Davis and draw his blood. I was somewhat nervous because I knew that we all wanted to make a good impression. I went in to draw his blood. I rarely missed finding a patient's vein on the first try so I was horrified when I had to try FOUR times before I found a vein!! Well , I just knew that I may as well pack my bags and get ready to leave, but to my total surprize Dr. Becker came out of the exam room with this big smile on his face and congratulated me for doing a great job! Dr. Davis had told him of the difficulty I had finding a vein and that the hospitals always had the same problem but he admired tenacity in a person and appreciated the way I handled that situation! That was a valuable lesson for me at that time.

I was delighted to hear that Dr. Becker got his grandchildren that he looked forward to. I'm sure he made a wonderful grandfather.

May the treasured happy memories of the past years sustain you at this most difficult time.

Lovingly,

Norleen and Robert Cross
