Gerald Despain Obituary
68, died December 8, 2011, in St George, Utah. He was born May 22, 1943, in Paso Robles, California to Leo and Claudine Despain. He married Juanita Golding in the SLC Temple June 14, 1967. He is survived by his mother Claudine, wife, Juanita, daughter Ann Humpherys (Erik), sons Daniel (Michelle), and Laran (Robin), 6 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. Preceded in death by daughter Sandra. Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 12, 2011, at 11am at LDS Sunset 1st Ward, 82 North, Dixie Drive, St George, UT. A Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:45. Interment will be at the Murray City Cemetery, under the direction of McMillan Mortuary 435-688-8880. Condolences may be shared at www.mcmillanmortuary.com.

I knew the Despain family that lived at Dry Lake, near my home town of Heber, Arizona. They were good people. One son married my first cousin and another married my first cousin once removed. If Gerald was like any of the Despain boys, he was a good man.
May the many memories he helped create find root in your hearts and bring sweet recollection to your minds as you both mourn and celebrate his life.
