Gertrude Karlin Obituary
93, of Scottsdale passed away on August 30, 2010. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Peter Karlin, and her brother, Irving Gollin. She is survived by her daughter Laura (Kenneth) Walker of Scottsdale and her son Stephen (Judy) Karlin of Flushing, New York. She loved life, her family, people, animals and her native New York City. Gertrude's family wishes to thank the caregivers at Lovin Manor and the staff of Hospice of the Valley. Chapel services will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at Sinai Chapel , 4538 N. 16th St., Phoenix, AZ 85016. Graveside services will be held in New York. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014 or the Arizona Humane Society, Attn: Dev. Dept., 1521 W. Dobbins Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85041. Arrangements by Sinai Mortuary.

Laura, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It is a very difficult time but knowing friends and family are your support system.
And I will agree that the owners and staff of Lovin Manor and Hospice of the Valley are angels from Heaven.
