Glenna Lightle Obituary

Lightle, Glenna M.
age 86 went home to be with the Lord January 18, 2012. She was born April 9, 1925, in Ross County, Ohio. She lived her first 46 years in Ohio then moved to Chandler, Arizona in 1971. She married Paul September 28, 1946. Her children are sons Scott (Marty), Sam (Marilyn), Stan (Mary), and daughter Becky Barnes (Gene). She had 5 grandchildren, Chris Eastman, Clint Eastman, Cherish Eastman Smith (Brett), Brent Lightle (Shannon), and Samantha Lightle plus four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Her first job was at Curtis Wright in Ohio and then medical secretary for a doctor's group in Chandler. She loved to travel with her husband around Arizona and visited Europe 7 times. She was an avid reader and loved to work crossword puzzles. She loved her family immensely and gave of her time generously. We will fondly remember her with open arms ready for hugs. She loved the Lord and was a faithful servant over the years teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, singing in the choir, housing missionaries, providing meals for the needy and was a member of the "Saints Alive" group at Faith Community Church. She moved to East Mesa with her daughter and attended Grace Church. A visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 24 at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Dr. Chandler, 85225 with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am.
