Grace White Hayes

Grace White Hayes, 99, of Chandler, Arizona died March 25, 2007. She was born August 11, 1907 in Clendenin, West Virginia but later moved to New Jersey. She was Executive Director of the YWCA in East Paterson, New Jersey for many years. She is survived by her son, William (Peggy), of Three Lakes, Wisconsin and Sun Lakes, Arizona, two grandchildren, Rusty (Jen) Hayes of Tempe, Arizona and Shannon Hayes Harendza (Kurt) of Springboro, Ohio, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell and 8 brothers and sisters. Internment will be in New Jersey followed by a Memorial Service Sunday, April 1 at 2 pm at Mission del Sol Presbyterian Church, 1565 East Warner Road in Tempe. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mission del Sol Presbyterian Church/Building Fund, 1565 E. Warner Rd., Tempe, AZ 85284 or Hospice of the Valley, Dobson House, 1188 S. Dobson Road, Chandler, AZ 85224. Arrangements entrusted to Tempe Mortuary.
