Gracie Cardwell, 74, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully, at Hospice of the Valley, Thursday the 23rd of September, 2010. Gracie was born in November 1935, she was the daughter of missionaries, Herbert and Esther MacClurg and had a very well traveled young life. In her 40 years here in Arizona, she made many friends who will miss her greatly. A visitation will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ on Wednesday September 29, 2010 from 5:00 till 8:00 p.m. The graveside service will be held September the 30th in the waterfall grotto at Mountain View Cemetery, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ at 2:00 p.m. Contributions may be made in honor of Gracie to the charity of your choice. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home (480-832-2850). Gracie's poem entitled Victory Will Come: You are with me thru my suffering. You feel the pain I bear each day. Jesus, You are my hope, my trust, my faith, To You my prayers I share! I need to sing Your praises more! With thoughts of Your hand still in mine. To feel Your presence, Your love and Power, To trust Your Word…victory will come… In Your Time!
