Brother Glasgow and my grandpa, Brother Linden Dial, took me on my first hike of the Grand Canyon. Those six days would have been a lot harder without Harold“s good humor and encouragement. Lots of good memories!

Thanks for allowing us to be a part of the GLASGOW family these past few days. It was wonderful to meet and become better acquainted with your children and their families. You guys have done a fantastic job in guiding your kids.
It was also a treat to renew our friendship with Ray, Mike and Richard. I treasure all of my GLASGOW memories from North Carolina and am especially grateful to you and HB for your part in reactivating my sisters after so many years of being inactive in the church.
May God bless you for all of your service to others. Please stay in touch and know that you are always welcome in our home.
Love, Marv & Brenda Foy Birt

HB, you will be sorely missed. Thank you for coming up to see us. Thank you, also, for being there for my mom when dad died.

Dear Sharon and Family,
My heartfelt prayers go out to you as you adjust to life without the strenght and constant that HB was in your lives. I know that HB's passing has left an empty spot in your lives. But he has been called on a new mission and he is with his Dad and Mom, Uncle Lloyd and Anut Lois, Uncle Bennie and Anut Pearly, and Grandpa John Daniel "Cap" Solomon and Grandma Smithey. Oh what a great reunion they are having as they catch up on things and begin the work of getting the house ready for us when we join them. HB's mission of this life has concluded and I feel sure that he has been welcome into Fathers Kingdom with the following words "Welcome home my good and faithful servent...Have I got a job for you"

I have known him for along time! One story some years ago as a young boy I was concerned as my Father sold him my favorite Truck that I hoped would be mine to drive when I was old enough! I know he put it to good use later and forgave him! He also helped me to know of a good place for scout camp when I needed a friend! In the last part of his life I had oportunity to work with 2 of his Grandsons. His influence was in both of them and it was a joy to know who and where they came from! He will be missed! I had prior commitments could not be present, but want his family to know how much I thought of him. With Love, Dave Clement son of Thomas W Clement PS Matt will be a Great Missonary! "Alaska"

I have always had deep respect and admiration for Harold. He was a great Scoutmaster and a wonderful example of being strong and gentle at the same time. He was true to his faith and will be a great asset on the other side. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Glasgow family at this difficult time.

I will always have fond memories of Harold Glasgow; he was my home teacher, Scout Master, and one of my youth mentors. His presence will be missed, his legacy will live on.

When I heard that Harold had passed I had two feelings: Saddness that I would not be seeing him again in my lifetime, and Joy at his reunion with his Savior. When I think of what Harold gave me in his service to mankind, and then I think of how many people "in their youth" he influenced like me (yes, I was young once), I just know his reward will be glorious...he truly was a "true and faithful servant".

We are so sorry for your loss. Harold was our home teacher for so many years, when I was in my youth. I will always remember his kindness and true concern for others. We feel close family ties to 9th ward. Love, The Cugudda's

Our memories of Harold and Sharon go way back. Our children were good friends also. Harold was our Home Teacher when my mother died. Although my parents were not known by the members of the ward, the Relief Society canceled their dinner planned for the evening of her funeral; instead, they attended her funeral and provided a wonderful luncheon for all. Harold gave the inspirational talk at the funeral which was greatly appreciated by my family. We hope that Sharon and her family will be blessed and aided during this time. We loved Harold and enjoyed his sense of humor and humanity.
