McGuirk, Helen
Passed away at 84, on May 13, 2010. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will forever remain in the hearts of her devoted husband of 59 years Raymond; her daughter Nancy (Mike); son John (Erica); grandchildren Stephanie, Alex, Kathryn, and Luke; and nieces Eileen and Janice. Born and raised in Cambridge, MA, Helen and Ray retired to Scottsdale 19 years ago. They joined St Maria Goretti 's parish where they have several dear friends. Helen's incredible strength saw her through many tribulations. Now she is joyfully reunited with her parents John and Evelyn, sisters Charlotte and Irene, and brother John. Her strong spirit and sense of humor will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held on Sunday May 16, 2010 from 5-8pm at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd Scottsdale. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Maria Goretti's on Monday at 10:30am. Burial to follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Arthritis Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
