Howard Cox Obituary

Cox, Howard "Bill" William
85, of Phoenix passed away on November 6, 2011. Mr. Cox was the owner of Central Distributing Division, a wholesale air conditioning company, and Mission Manufacturing, maker of Up-Dux, a product which he invented, that improved the comfort and security of homes throughout the southwestern United States. An inventor and businessman, he held patents for many air-conditioning related products. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Mildred Laster Cox of Memphis, Tennessee, and by his three children: Linda Goss, Julia Cox and Carole Lockwood, of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Heather Shafe, Erika Taylor, Rachael Lincoln, Cassidy Bukovinsky and four great grandchildren: Grace, Emma, Boston and Dorothy. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Alzheimer's Association
