Jack Wheeler Obituary

Jack Raymond Wheeler

Scottsdale - Jack Raymond Wheeler died peacefully on April 24, 2018. Jack was born September 30, 1943 to Margaret and Earnest Wheeler in Kansas City, Missouri. Jack married the love of his life, Lidia Valencia Wheeler, 51 years ago and had two sons, Jason Scott and Brian Matthew Wheeler. Jack is Papa to his two grandsons, Zac and Brandon Wheeler. Jack is survived by his wife, Lidia; son Brian; grandsons, Zac and Brandon; daughter in law, Denise; cousins, Gerry, Jim and Mick. Jack will join his son Jason, mother Margaret, father Earnest and step-mother, Bethel in Heaven. Jack worked for Motorola's government division group in Scottsdale for over 35 years until retirement. Jack was always supportive through the years of his sons and grandsons. Jack and Lidia would be at every game their grandsons would be in, whether, soccer, football, basketball. Jack truly found joy in watching his grandsons and was very proud of them. Jack was an avid "car guy" who loved to go to shows and bring out his 1950 Ford Sedan or his 1969 Galaxie Convertible. Jack loved to go trail riding in the desert with his sons and friends. Jack's family loved to tease him about how cheap he was. Especially his grandsons, his wallet was always stuffed with more coupons then wallets. Jack will truly be missed by his family and friends. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, grandfather and friend. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 11am with visitation an hour prior at All Care Cremation and Burial, 1541 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85014. Entombment to follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85008. Please visit www.allcarecremation.com to place online condolences.

We were so sad to run across this news today. My prayers and deepest condolences to Lidia, Brian and the family. Jack and Lidia were our next-door neighbors for over 40 years. They were great friends and neighbors to my parents... always lending a hand and keeping an eye on them as they grew older. I really enjoyed and miss my front yard chats with Jack! He was such a nice guy. We are so sorry for your loss.
