Jacob Vallen Obituary
27, died on Sunday, August 18, 2013. Jacob was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on May 20, 1986 to Daniel Vallen and Jeannine Reed. He was an avid skateboarder; he shredded his board everywhere and had the bumps and bruises to prove it. Jacob had a vibrant personality and a passion for life; he loved music, and his girlfriend Alysia and his best friend Dude. He is survived by his daughter Gwenyth; his parents Daniel Vallen and Jeannine Reed; siblings Jill Kraft, Reed Garner and Sedona Garner; nieces Hayden, Brittany, Maddie and Jordan; nephews Noah and Brandon. The funeral will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel 13738 W. Camino del Sol Sun City West, AZ 85375. Jacob's last gift was as an organ donor.

A beautiful boy, and wonderful young man was here for awhile and for that we are grateful, as we are all better to have known him. My family and I are home from his service and although we are still deeply saddened for your loss, we are forever happy that we knew him, spent time with him and got to know him a little better by the words of his family and friends at such a lovely memorial to the spirit, the heart and the soul that was and is Jacob. Jacob I miss you. We just started talking again and then this happens. I'm glad you found me on that stupid app to get ahold of me but I am not glad it was only for a short period of time. I wish I could turn back time and have kept in touch better. For that I am sorry. I know you wouldn't want me to feel bad, but I do. I wish I could have told you that I loved ya and missed ya before everything happened. Just know that you and all of your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I'll never forget the "little Jacob" I knew over 15 years ago. I'll never forget the times we shared once we were all grown up, or the last time I saw you as you nervously prepared for the responsibility of fatherhood. I have thought of you often since our last encounter and the man you had grown to be. Dear Vallen Family: I saw Jacob every day at Dilly's Deli in Scottsdale. My friends and I would go there after Jazzercise every morning for coffee. Jacob always greeted us with a big smile. He was so sweet, happy, friendly ... pleasant and respectful of us. It was a joy to see him. May God hold you close as you grieve, and may your lifetime of memories bring you comfort. RIP, sweet Jacob.
