Jackie and I had shared over thirty years of friendship. The bond became stronger with the passing years. We shared words of encouragement, wisdom and understanding. I loved Jackie.
My prayers of thanks to God are for the memories I have when I reflect on my friend Jackie.
My condolences to the entire family.

Dear Jack and family,
My thoughts and my prayers are with all of you and may you feel His comfort. Jackie was the best friend I have ever had, the friendship spanning about 35 years. We never exchanged a cross word in all of that time. I loved her and miss her so much. I keep wanting to tell her things, and so I do and I believe she hears me. I feel so blessed to have had her in my life these many years. She was so proud of her family and I feel like I know all of you personally as she talked about you all the time. She would not want you to be sad, she would want your lives to be filled with joy. Just thinking of her and her life will fill your hearts with love and bring a smile to your faces, in time. She was the most amazing person I have ever known and her zest for living was a shining example.

Dear Marchant Family,
I want to express my condolences for your loss. I worked at Sentry Insurance in Scottsdale when she was in the Sales dept located by Group Health claims where I worked. Paul may remember me because I told him I would be in prayer for him during his Mission. Paul, I hope you are still able to utilize your Spanish. I remember when you were coming home. She was so excited that she was going to have "Billy Graham" in her household. She said your Mission had been a great success and I could tell that she was very proud of you. She was a very wonderful lady, that showed a lot of compassion and grace and treated everyone she interacted with with dignity. I loved her sense of humor and contagious laughter.
I know that you know how blessed you are to have had her in your lives. I lost my mother several years ago and have learned that you are a part of them and they are a part of you that will never be lost. May you all feel the love and comfort that you need at this time from your Heavely Father. I send my Love and Best wishes to all of you.

Paul,
I was so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. Please give my condolences and best wishes to your father. Many years have passed since we lived across the street from one another but I remember you and your family with great fondness. It has been a year since Brother Russell passed away and there is always a great sense of loss. You will miss your mother very much also, but continue to remember the good times. It helps to soften the loss. My love to you and your family.

Dear Family of Jackie Marchant.
It was with a sad heart that I learned Jackie's passing. I worked with Jackie for many years. Most of it long distance but there were occasions due to company business that we spent time together.
In 1985-1986 when Jackie visited Richmond, VA, I took Jackie and Janet to Washington, DC and Baltimore to see the sights. There was a protest going on at the Washington Mall area. Jackie jumped out and disappeared into the crowd marching. I was forced to drive around the block looking for Jackie but she suddenly appeared with a protest sign in hand. She gave the sign back and got into the car and enjoyed the fact that she had participated in a protest on the Washington Mall. That same day she tried clams and crabs at the Fish Market in Baltimore for the first time. We had a great day!. One trip when I had to go to Home Office in Stevens Point she loaned me her bike for the few days. To this day, I smile when I think of Jackie. She will be missed. My sincerest condolences...
