James Kerrigan Obituary
James E. Kerrigan, 87, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on April 9, 2017. He was a school teacher and administrator in Roosevelt School District. He served in the Air Force and the Phoenix Air National Guard for 42 1/2 years. He has his wife Lee, sons Daniel (Connie) and David (Gloria), daughter Lorraine (Richard), 11 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, step-children Linda and David Dodds, sister Pat, brother Mike. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017: Visitation 10:30 AM, Service 11:00 AM at Green Acres Mortuary-401 N Hayden Rd. Scottsdale, AZ. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E Flower, Phoenix, AZ 85014.

Mr. Kerrigan was my teacher at Roosevelt Elementary school and I later served with MSgt Kerrigan in the 161st ARW. He was a great man!!! He touched the lives of many kids and men during his life.

Jim and I worked at Roosevelt District until he retired. we keep in touch over the years. I always told him god blessed me with a very good friend for over 45 years. He will be missed and in our thoughts forever. God bless your family.

Jim was a great supporter of Arizona School Transportation. He was instrumental in starting the Arizona School Bus Drivers Association back in the late 50's to early 60's. He continued that support as a sub school bus driver for Scottsdale Unified after he retired. I knew Jim when I worked at Roosevelt District and continued that friendship through the years. The Arizona Association for Pupil Transportation sends our love and deepest condolences to the family.
