Taylor, James D.
James D. Taylor, age 66, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away November 27, 2010 after a courageous six year battle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved husband of Patti, devoted father of Andrew Taylor (Karen) and step dad to Scott Gunnell (Carrie), Ryan Gunnell (Julie) and Brannon Gunnell (Amanda). Jim was step grandfather to seven with many nieces and nephews. He is the son of the late Milford and Jessie Taylor of Pittsburgh. PA. A 1967 graduate of Geneva College of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, Jim was a proud veteran of the US Marine Reserve and a retired Marketing Sales Development Specialist of Hallmark Cards, Inc. A memorial service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, Ariz., on Saturday, December 11. Visitation 4 - 5 PM, memorial service at 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of the Valley would honor Jim.

Dear Patti,

Jim and I were deeply saddened to hear of Jim's death and our hearts go out to you. We are sorry we cannot be at Jim's memorial but know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Jim fought a long and courageous battle with cancer until the end. We were lucky to know Jim and will miss him. He was truly a wonderful man.

Jim and I worked together at Hallmark Cards. He was a dedicated, hard working, creative and very well liked manager. More importent to me, he was a loyal and good friend. I will miss his good sense and good humor. May God bless and keep him.
