James Wigle Obituary
69, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away peacefully at home on his birthday, February 8, 2016. Better known as Wags to family and friends, Jim was born and raised in Pacific Palisades, California. Jim attended the University of California Los Angeles and moved to Scottsdale, AZ with his young family in 1981 to work for Garrett Aerospace (later Allied-Signal) and retired from CSK Automotive in 2008. An avid model-railroader all his life, Jim housed 900 square feet of HO-gauge model railroads in his home, modeled after the 1950s Los Angeles of his childhood. Jim is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sydney Wilson Wigle, their two daughters, Whitney Wigle Kleinhenz of Los Angeles, CA and Stephanie Wigle Haddow of San Francisco, CA, as well as his brother John B. Wigle of Santa Barbara, CA and sister Isabel Wigle Mullin of Manhattan Beach, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to the Travel Town Museum Foundation located inside Griffith Park, Los Angeles, CA. Nancy and I just read of Jim's passing in a notice to the Garrett retirees. We can only imagine your loss and are deeply saddened. I worked closely with Jim for several years n the forming and maturing of ITEC and thought of him as not only a delightfully wonderful fellow but a true professional and a super lawyer. He was a trusted confidant , a terrific strategist and an amazingly good humored and funny guy.
Nancy and I will add your family to our prayer list in hopes you quickly find the strength to move forward. Our deepest and sincere condolences.
