I enjoyed my visits with her over the last year. Such a wonderful, giving person! She was always asking about the medical students and so loved teaching in the neuroanatomy lab. Thank you for your friendship - I miss you!

Janice was a friend and mentor of mine for over 10 years. Despite being separated by 50 years in age, we always shared a common ground in our inquisitive nature. She introduced me to authors such as Ayn Rand and Ray Kurzweil and we would talk for hours about their writings. Janice was truly a unique woman. I am sad for her passing but happy that she was able to touch so many lives. Love you Janice! Friends 'til the end.

Kind and gentle neighbor. I missed seeing her and Tom when she moved. Janice thought my grandson Christopher was a genuis (he is) and wanted to teach him online trading of stocks. Unfortuately that did not come to be. Rest well dear friend!

I haven't seen Janice in a few years but we worked out together regularly for many years at Tocasierra at The Pointe. She was always a ray of sunshine. She loved exercising and she loved life. We all thought of her as being slightly kooky (and she'd probably admit that she was) but enjoyed being with her. She was indeed one of a kind.

To the Dorn Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
