As and adult I did not spend very much time Uncle Jay which I do regret very much but as a child a spent a lot of time at Aunt Janie and Jay's house. He always had a fun story to tell or a funny joke. His spirit and legacy will definitely live on in his "Boys" George, Jim & John. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always. We love you all very much!

It was always such a wonderful time visiting with the clan "out west". I have such fond memories of all of you, but i especially remember my first trip to arizona. Uncle Jay took me to see the "desert". We hunted for clay pieces under the cactus and he cautioned me to watch out for anything moving under there! We sighted wild donkeys and cows. But I was the only 13 yr old who ever got to target shoot in the desert!. Although he was ever so quiet, he was a great presence and was always interesting to talk to. He was never hurried and spent time just chatting it up with you. He was a blessed man to spend his last days with those who loved him the most.

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are and will be with you, always. We share your loss of our Brother-in-law, Jay, who was truly a gentle, interesting and knowledgable man. His soft voice and his great humor will always be remembered. He is with God, now, and we wish Gods blessing on you four. (Aunt) Evelyn and (Uncle) Byron.
