Miss you so much my teenie weenie Jeannie.

November 8, 2009

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
"Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him."

Jeannette was a beautiful spirit -- may that live on through you, her family, with hope.

My deepest condolences to your family in this time of mourning. May you find comfort in each other and in our Father; my family’s thoughts and prayers are with you.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.”

October 20, 2009

To Tom, Cheryl, Michele, and Chrissie....

We are so saddened by your loss of Jeanie. This hits so close to home because we know your relationship between parents and daughters are so much like ours. We all watched our kids grow up together. We shared their triumphs and their struggles. The special place they make in your heart will never diminish. It’s at times like these that I question, why? Why do bad things like this happen to good people? It challenges your faith in God. Why would a loving and merciful God want any good person to suffer? Perhaps, our Lord has decided that Jeannie has endured enough of this world and now can celebrate eternal life in heaven. That is what I choose to believe. I believe we will all reunite when our time has come. I saw this saying from an unknown author and wanted to share it with you all. I hope that it gives you some comfort through this really difficult time.

“The Kingdom of God is….

A land where life is celestial laughter and forever fun

Prodigal sons return and Wayward daughters find rest

Absent fathers attend to payment and Unfit mothers are capable

Abandoned children are secure and the Unborn have names

A land where stars wish upon us

Forgiveness falls like rain

Beauty is found in every beast

Lost causes are won

Chocolate is nutritious

Singers sing colors but never the blues

Purity is pleasure

Justice is service

Kindness is courage

Humility is nobility

Charity is cherished

Fidelity is forever

A land where we shall see our God face to face

Secure in His arms

Reunite with our best friend from Nazareth

Behold the beautiful vision of God

Be forever home.”

I pray that Jeannie has found her way home and is celebrating in the Kingdom of Heaven now and forever. I also pray that your wonderful memories of her keep her spirit in you alive for a lifetime.

With Sincerest Prayers and Sympathy,
Michael and Dawn Frank
