Arriving quite late in Will and Esther's lives, John was our parent's pride and joy. I feel very fortunate to have so many fond memories of my brother John. One that sticks out is of our trip to the British Virgin Islands almost 25 years ago. Both John and our brother Paul were on that trip and I felt overjoyed to have them as shipmates. I am so thankful that John had Carrie to spend the latter part of his life with. I know that he was delighted with all of his children and entire family. He lived his life with great fervor and his family was his ultimate passion.

What a wonderful treasury of memories I have of my Uncle John. He enriched all of the lives that he touched. He will long be remembered. I will miss him dearly, and pray for the comfort of Carrie, and his entire loving family. You are inspirations to your entire extended family!

Uncle John's devotion to his mother, Esther, during her life, as well as his detailed chronicling of our family's geneology, were well recognized and appreciated by his brother, Bill (my father), and his family. John will be deeply missed. Our love and sympathies go out to Carrie and cousins John, Ted, Ben, Patrick, Emily, and Holly.

A man's legacy is his children. I've worked with John's son Ben for many years. John's legacy is in great shape.
