John Noble Obituary

Noble, John E.
John Noble passed away peacefully at home on 01/07/11. He was 61. John was born in Sherman, TX on 8/14/49 to John Edwin Noble and Helen Noble (nee Cassler). As a boy, he traveled the world as an Air Force brat living in Japan, Turkey, Italy and all over the United States. John served his country honorably in Vietnam earning a Combat Infantry Badge and a Purple Heart. He worked as a precision machinist before his disability retirement. He loved traveling, wine tasting, gardening, rock hunting, war movies, pro football, Poker Stars, shamelessly spoiling all his girls and most of all spending time with his granddaughter Ellie, the light of his life. John is preceded in death by his father John Edwin Noble and his beloved sister Cheryl Miller. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Gwyn, the love of his life and his two sons, Trevor Noble of Temple, AZ and Sean Noble (Katie Larsen) and his granddaughter Elizabeth Alane of Cle Elum, WA, his parents Helen and Edward Broock (Pop) of Scottsdale, AZ, his nieces Roxanne Williams (John) and her children of Glendale, AZ and Colleen Aguallo (Rudy) of Queen Creek, AZ, his aunt Betty Jo Cassler and his cousins Donna Richardson and Gary Hayes of Tulsa, OK, his sister-in-law Valerie Atkinson and his niece Meredith Redman, his brother-in-law Alan Atkinson (Susan) and their children Gwyneth and Owen, and his mother-in-law Alane Winburn, all of Norman, OK. Our heartfelt thanks go out to all for the support we have received in this devastating time. John lived his life to the fullest and we will miss him more than words can express. Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Paradise Sunset Chapel Funeral Home 3934 East Indian School Road Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers and in honor of his beloved dogs Ruby, Maggie and Tess, contributions in John Noble's honor can be made to the Arizona Animal Welfare League 30 N. 40th Place, Phoenix, AZ 85034.

GARY HAYES

January 12, 2011

My eyes filled up with tears as I heard the news
It never occurred to me, how much I could lose
I find myself wishing that it wasn't real
Every time I think about it, pain is all I can feel
Tears fall from my eyes, I can barely see
But my heart tells me that he'll always be with me
I’m glad he feels no pain now-he lives in a perfect land
I can still feel the soft touch on my shoulder of his loving hand
I lie in bed and cry at night
And I don’t feel any better in the morning light
And I will love and miss him forever
Until the day we are again together.
Together in that perfect place above,
Filled with caring, sharing and love
But until that day comes- I will wipe my tears away.
And hopefully see him again someday
