John and his family lived next door to my cousins the Bringazes. We only lived a mile away so me and my brother spent many summer days playing with John, his brothers, my cousins, and other kids in their neighborhood. John was a great baseball player and was coached by my Dad for several years. I was the catcher on that team, and John threw a mean fastball. In high school I lost touch of John, but would see him at parties and picnics. He was a great guy and a joy to be around. His parents were awesome as wekk, and his brother Billy was very special to all of us. His other brother Jim was the older cool brother that worked at Shakey's and was one of the best foosball players around. He was a great guy as well. May God welcome John into his kingdom, and bless the Veto family in their time of sadness.

I just found out about John passing tonight. This truly breaks my heart. He was a great man and a great friend. I met him after he moved to Greensboro and he was such a delight to be around. He loved to sing karaoke and always had great stories. I will miss him. My prayers go out to his sons and his family. He was very proud of you boys, he always spoke so highly of y'all. May his memory live forever

I met the Veto Family when John was a young teen. John was a bright young man who showed a great deal of promise at a young age.
Condolences and prayers are being sent to the Veto Family. May the memories of John comfort you during this difficult time. Rest in peace, John.

My prayers and condolences to John's family. I summer interned for John at Motorola and he hired me at ON Semiconductor after I graduated from ASU. He was a great manager and always put his team first. I will remember his kindness and the beaming pride he had for his sons. God bless you all during this time.

John was such a nice person to work with. He and I would banter back and forth about football. His heart was for the Hamilton Huskies and mine for the Desert Ridge Jaguars!
He spoke very highly of his family and was so proud of all his boys. His face would light up speaking about them. Such a joy to hear about his boys!
Thinking of each of you.
