Jonathan Byrd Obituary

Byrd, Jonathan E.
57, Greenwood, Indiana, passed away Thursday afternoon, August 21, 2009. He was a former resident of Litchfield Park, AZ. He was born January 6, 1952 in Greenwood, IN to Carl Byrd and Lala (Wethington) Byrd. He married Virginia "Ginny" Driver on September 8, 1973. She survives. Survivors include his two sons, Jonathon E. (Abigail) Byrd, II of Greenwood and David N. (Jewel) Byrd of Goodyear, AZ; mother, Lala (Ron) Isom; sister, Janeen (Rick) Sprague; and seven grandchildren, Geneva, Noah, Nathan, Ashleyanna, Taryn, Evelyn, and Jonathon "Jebbie" Byrd, III. He opened several hotels in Arizona and Utah, which includes a Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, Wingate Inn & Suites, and a Residence Inn. He also owned Byrd Enterprises Advertising Agency. Jonathan's career flourished far beyond his hotel businesses, and can be viewed at www.wilsonstpierre.com. Ginny, My folks thought of you and Jonathan often. Every time my husband and I eat at the restaurant we asked about JB.Mom called me from AZ to tell me you lost JB and we send our deepest sympathy to you and the boys. Take care, Marilyn & Don Hickrod (Les & Vera Rouse's daughter)
