We have created a public group site on Facebook. Just search "Joe Wyler Memorial" once in Facebook. Please visit there as well, to express your condolences and to view many photos of Joe; and to view people's comments describing his personality and their memories with him.

Last summer 2010, Joe was working on an invention that he hoped would help to change the world for the better. He didn't have it perfected, nor did he have it in a smaller/affordable version as yet. He was really concerned that the world might change drastically if he released his idea—he hoped for good. Regardless, he was going to release it without wanting/expecting royalties or notoriety--so anonymously. Joe, you REALLY cared about humanity. I got to witness how important it was to you. Thank-you!!!
Joe, I will always cherish our phone chats of last year . We had some deep, life-reflecting talks—I feel honored to have shared them with you.
"Joseph, We will ALWAYS love you! You were SO kind & special--such a great brother. Your life in Phoenix, AZ made it so that you lived far away for so long. May Peace follow you on your new path. We enjoyed seeing you at the recent wedding. Thank-you!”

I first meet Joe on our return journey from Texas after witnessing a younger sisters graduation from military boot camp. An easy smile and a devil may care attitude made a great first impression and fun relaxing dinner. It was such a surprise to have Joe show up to see our new house. A small reunion of brothers gathered soon and recounted many stories of a happy childhood. Joe came from a very large family and he enjoyed himself throughly when gathered with his family as witnessed at his sisters wedding last November. We are so greatful he came to the wedding and left us with a memory of the happy smiling Joe we will always remember. Even though I have not had the opportunity to meet Pat, I want Pat to know she has my deepest sympathies. I too lost my first spouse suddenly and I grieve for you too.

As far as brothers go, Joe was a giant. I take comfort in believing that in Heaven distance does not keep us apart, that we will be together again, and that Joe knows his true value there. Beautiful Joe.
Pat, I wish I could help.
