Julie King Obituary

Julie Ann King of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on December 29, 2006 after a long and couragous battle with chronic lung disease. Julie was born in Royal Oak, Michigan, to Mary McGraw King and Richard A. King. She attended the Shrine of the Little Flower and graduated from Marion High School in Birmingham, Michigan. She attended Ferris College in Michigan. She moved to Phoenix in 1976, where she owned and operated her own business until her death. Julie was preceded in death by her father Richard A. King. She is survived by her mother Mary King Christianson and stepfather David M. Christianson. She is also survived by one brother and two sisters, J. Christopher King (Mary), Cynthia Vidal (Miguel) and Carolyn Valdez (Michael), also three nephews and four nieces, Christopher King, Jeffrey King, Jordan King, Lauren King, Kieley McNaughton, Ryan Valdez and Kimberlee Valdez. She will be missed by her friends and co-workers. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 8th at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale, with visitation one hour prior to service time. The family suggests remembrances be made to the American Lung Assoc., 102 W. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85003.
