Timms, June
June Ann Timms of Sun Lakes, passed away in Mesa on March 21, 2011, with family at her side and went to be with the Lord. She was born on May 31, 1937 in Los Angeles, CA to Robert and Florence Thomas. June retired from the Anaheim Union High School District in 1990 after receiving a Liver Transplant, she was one of the longest living liver recipients (21 years) Robert and June Timms retired to Sun Lakes AZ in 1992 and June enjoyed her water exercise classes at the Cottonwood pool and playing Canasta with the girls. She never lost her sense of humor or will to live right up to the end of her wonderful life. She has touched many lives in a positive way and will be greatly missed by all. June was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Florence Thomas, and her sister Phyliss Spring. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Robert Timms of Sun Lakes, one daughter Julie Timms and her fiancé Tony Neal of Cypress, CA., three sons Tom (Erika) Timms of Buena Park, CA, Glenn (Sylvia) Timms of Cypress, CA, and Mike Timms of Sun Lakes, AZ Five Grandchildren and one great grandchild. Memorial services will be held on April 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Buena Park First Church of the Nazarene 8281 Page St. Buena Park, CA.
