Kenneth Reno Obituary

- Kenneth S. Reno, 85, of Surprise Arizona, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, died on November 23rd, 2002, after an amazing twelve year battle with myelofibrosis. He was born September 16, 1917 in Smiths Creek, Michigan and moved to Phoenix in 1958. Ken is survived by his son, Tom and daughter-in-law Pam of Houston, TX, daughter Jan of Surprise, AZ, son Ken "Chip" and daughter-in-law Anna of Scottsdale and many friends. In addition, there are 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren from Houston, Denver, San Angelo, Seattle and Tucson. The family held a private Mass in celebration of Ken's life as he rejoins his wife, Maxine, of 60 years. He will be missed by his family and friends and others whose life he touched. His keen wit and love of family will be a few of the many memories treasured by those that knew and loved him. The family requests that any remembrance of Ken be sent to Sun Health Hospice, 12740 N. Plaza del Rio Blvd., Peoria, AZ 85381, or the Hospice Organization in your local community.
