Kristene Hansen Obituary

Hansen, Kristene Elizabeth Kinssies
Our beloved, beautiful Kristene Elizabeth Kinssies Hansen, 57, of Scottsdale died peacefully on June 23, 2009. She was born to a German immigrant fisherman in the small coastal town of Aberdeen, Washington on April 18, 1952. Kristene was the youngest of four and the only girl. After growing up in Washington state, Kristene moved to New York City after high school and returned to Seattle a number of years later where she met her future husband, John R. Hansen Jr. Her love of sunshine and warm weather prompted Kristene and her family to move to Arizona in 2001. Kristene is survived by her husband, John, 62; daughter, Kristena Hansen, 22; son, John R. Hansen III, 19; brother, Richard Kinssies, 60; sister-in-law, Kay Kinssies, 60; and several uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Her zest for life and boisterous laugh will be among the myriad of things we will deeply miss. Kristene's funeral will be held at Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd., on Friday, June 26 at 1 pm.
