Happy Birthday Kyle. Tomorrow will be your 61st Birthday. Happy Birthday My Love. This birthday you will have the honor of sharing it with my dad as he received his angel wings this past December. I know he is now in a better place and is celebrating with you. I am sure he was thrilled to see you as well as all of his other loved ones. We love you and miss you each and every day that you are not with us. Each passing year makes it even harder to believe that is has already been 15 years. It just doesn’t seem possible. I so wish you were here so that we could enjoy our lives together. Right now should be the times of our lives right but it apparently wasn’t the path that God had for us. He obviously had other things in mind for you. Things will never be the same without you. You are still the best thing that ever happened to me and I miss your each and every day. Until we are together again, remember that I love you and miss you each and every day. Please take care of my daddy as I miss him terribly as well. Have a Mango Chelada with him for your birthday as that was his favorite beer. I will always hold you near to my heart and will continue to dream with you as always. I will always cherish the moments and times we did have together. We certainly looked so good together!!! Happy 61st Birthday, my Sweet Love. Forever your one and only Boo. Your loving wife forever and always, Regina.

There is a place in my heart that only you can fill. There is a void that no one else will ever be able to fill. Until we are together again, remember that I love you and miss you each and every day. January 29th 2019.
Tomorrow will be my friend Kyle Minkin's 59th Birthday.
Even today , it just doesn't seem real that my friend Kyle is gone.
To be honest, I think about him many times throughout the years.
There's a void in my life without Him here.
Kyle taught me how to be strong never giving up and always taking the extra effort to do things the right way.
I miss the days of old where Him and i would compete against each other racing up Palm trees together to see who could climb, cut and finish the tree the best and fastest.
I miss our long talks together about many things that are important.
Kyle's treasure in this world are his Children. They always have been.
Kyle taught me how to be a responsible man.
We'd work before the sun would rise and finish pulling into his house long after the sun would be down. We'd get up the next morning hurting from the work we did the day before.
Kyle always gave 1000% in everything that he did.
I remember him liking a Song titled , ""HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW""
Kyle's infectious character changed my life for good.
Tomorrow is His Birthday and with that , Happy Birthday to my friend Kyle Minkin.
To his family, I send my love.
Sincerely Scott Slack.

Happy Birthday Kyle. Tomorrow is your 59th Birthday and my heart and life are still empty without you. I love you and miss you each and every day that you are not with us. It doesn't seem possible that you have been gone for 13 years now. I wish you were here so we could share our lives together. You are the best thing that ever happened to me and I miss your encouragement, you standing by the driveway with a glass of wine to greet me when I got home and your arms around me. There is a place in my heart that only you can fill. Until we are together again, remember that I love you and miss you each and every day. I hold you close to my heart and that you are in my dreams now and always. Happy Birthday my sweet, sweet Love!! Regina

Kyle, I was just talking about you today.
I still can't believe that you are gone.
You and sure enjoyed climbing those palm trees.
Kyle, I never did get a chance to thank you for all that you have done for me.
You freed me from incarnation. You put a roof over my head. You gave me food and water. You counseled me. You paid my debts.
You Kyle where my true friend who showed me love.
You taught me something. You taught me to get involved and make a difference in someone's life.
That's exactly what I'm doing today.
There is a huge void without you here. It's felt by all that knew you including me.
Sometimes I still drive by your house and it puts me in tears.
I will be seeing you soon as my health seems to be failing me.
I love and miss you my friend
Sincerely, Scott Slack.

Kyle, I was just looking at the recent flooding in AZ. and as if something said, look up your old Boss, and friend, Kyle Minkin. Maybe try to contact him and then when I typed in your name on the computer, this page came up.
I learned much from you, as one of your Ground Crew. Always the "Can DO' attitude. Be Blessed Minkin (Mickey) Mouse, Kyle. I see you in the realms of higher vibrations, or in dreams. A man who helped many- of course You are in Eternal paradise. I had no idea. It seems your own spirit prompted me, to know, where and how you are. Love and Light. Blessings and Safe Journeys to you and yours, left behind, awaiting the call to come home.
When I get there, I hope you are one to greet me with open arms, my friend. Thank you for all your uplifting words- Greatly missed, by many my friend.

Blessings and Safe Journeys, Regina, and girls- and all who are, missing this man- Brian? Your dad was awesome!

My Friend Kyle

I have missed our talks. I didn't know. Doctor Paul and Delores, Burt and Ellie were there for you, I just know it. Maybe you can tell the Ajax Liquor Store joke TO my dad. Your mind was so active. We were kindred spirits.

"Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings......put out my hands and touched the face of God." You're there. Love Paula

Kyle,

I feel truly blessed to have known you in this life. Though our time together was brief, I felt we had know each other for years through Gina. The love you had for her was awe inspiring; you two were soul mates. The memories I have of you are beautiful; you dancing with my daughter at the wedding, you constantly telling me how "hot" Gina was. You once told me that Gina thought the world of me and coming from you it was so special. Know that until you and she meet again, I will do my best to make sure that she is happy. You were such a special man and you don't know that affect you had on so many. I am a better person for knowing you. Sleep well.

My Dear Sweet Kyle,

I feel so fortunate to call you my brother-in-law but more my brother-in-love. You shared so much of yourself and were always willing to do anything for anyone in need before even being asked. You helped me so much when I lost Tom last year and showed me that everything was supposed to be the way it was and that all things happen for a reason. Hopefully He was sent before you to be part of your welcoming party in Heaven. I believe we will all meet again in that perfect place-with no hurt or pain or hunger or loneliness or sickness. I do believe you got someone just like you wanted. Someone who would adore you the way I did Tom. I believe you found that with Gina. Time is sometimes so very short and we need to do as you did, "Live today as if it were our last". Say the things we've been meaning to, do the things we always put off until tomorrow, share with the ones we love the time that is so very precious. No one ever gets to the end of their lives and says "Gee, I wish I had worked more". We aren't judged on the possessions that we attained or the car that we drove or the clothes that we wore, but the people and lives that we touched.

I'm so very proud to have been part of your family. You were a special man that accomplished so much in so few years. You have two beautiful, smart, loving daughters that I have no doubt you are just glowing over in Heaven. You did Great!! We will try to be there for them in your absence and do exactly what you would have wanted. You built a great foundation in them and you'll continue to guide them I am sure. We won't let you down either.

I have so many fond memories of you and things we did, the nothing things really, those were the ones I loved most. It was the bowling, jet skiing, deep sea fishing, pulling weeds together, and the talking on the phone forever about anything and nothing. Knowing you or I could always call. I am so thankful for the time we did have together, though it will never seem to be enough. Until we meet again, please rest, (this will be a first) and keep my fishing pole ready. Yes, you have to bait it still, unless those little fishes aren't slimy in Paradise and I'll have a cup of clam chowder now and again at Brophy's for you.

Thank you for being a part of my life doesn't begin to do you any justice. It doesn't even touch the surface. You have forever change my life for the better. I love you and miss you. You are in my thoughts and prayers always.

Until we meet again, your sister in love, Julie

Kyle…My Sweet Husband, words can not express the loss I feel. The memories that we have shared over more than 22 years will be with me forever. I am so grateful for the wonderful times we have shared and the respect we gained for each other over those years. I am so glad that you were more than just my husband; you were my best friend, my lover, my companion and I will hold you close to my heart each and every day. I will never forget the special thoughts you shared with me and the special moments we had together. Thank you for being there for me each and every day, for greeting me when I pulled up from work with a chilled glass of wine, for telling me each and every day how hot I was and how much you have always loved me. Those are the memories that live with me daily. I can tell you how very proud the girls and I were on the day you retired from the Air Force. You put your uniform on and just shined. I was so honored to stand there beside you as your wife and know how proud you were to have me there as your wife as well. I know that your parents would have been so very proud of you also. You were so courageous in your fight for recovery and never gave up hope. I know that we have to be apart now but thoughts of you are never far from my mind. Your love still wraps around me like the warmth of summer time and I long to feel your arms around me. So until we can be together again, I will dream of you night and day as I know you will dream of me and remember the love that is waiting always for you and you alone. Until we meet again, remember that I love you Kyle, my sweet, sweet husband.

Friends, this old Chief is just speechless. I know that is hard to believe. I felt like I know what it would feel like to lose a son when Kyle passed. We didn't see each other enough after I retired, but he always stopped when he was in Oceanside. I was reflecting on our years together with our Air Force family, we had a ball. A more rewarding or better friendship I couldn't have asked for. We did have a few narrow misses, but what's off shore stays off shore! We were a team for 6 years. We reenlisted everything and everybody in uniform, raised more money for the unit and wing, coordinated, cooked and served adult livations, and worked on more Holiday functions than any two GI's before or after our tenure. We made it our mission to make the UTA weekend as rewarding and as enjoyable as possible for the guys. I know Kyle knew we always accomplished our goals. Kyle we love ya, Miss Norma and I will miss you and will never forget you. Chief Gilley,(John), He laways liked to call me Chief!

Kyle was a true friend and I loved the fact that he was my friend. I know he felt the same way about me. There was nothing pretentious about this man. In my mind, I still hear him joking. "Ed McMahon says, send it in right away, you may already won". I loved him like my brother. The sad part is I didn't know how sick he was. Now he is gone on to Glory. I remember our little group standing in a circle at my home, arms locked around shoulders, Men and Women, singing along to the Lee Greenwood song "Proud to be an American". That was during Desert Storm. That was Kyle. He was a friend who would watch your back and you were happy to watch his, come what may. Today he is the Missing Man. He is gone, but will never be forgotten. To quote him,"I love you Man."

Kyle Minkin was my son, my brother, and my friend. We shared many good times together, just talking, watching good movies (and of course we would always have a big bowl of candy). Cooking and eating good food together was our favorite.

Whenever we would visit him, he would always give us such a genuine warm welcome.

He made his home a very special place to visit.

He was easy to talk to, and was always there if you needed someone to tell your troubles to. I will never forget the many talks we had, and the good times we shared together.

I will truly miss him and his many wonderful qualities.

I know he’s in Heavenly Peace with the Lord our God.

Regina, Falen and Kaylen, please keep in touch and let me know if there is anything we can do. My prayers are with you all, May God touch you and give you strength and peace to endure your sorrow. Love You All,
