Dear Kristin, Kent, Alex and Erika,
I have loved being able to get to know your family over these past 3 years. It is an honor to be among some of the greatest parents in the world. I have watched you both just love your children and do all the right things for them. I know that Heavenly Father loves you for all the time spent in teaching Lance and for providing a beautiful home in which he lived to be able to feel the spirit and to there be taught about eternal things. Many of us cannot understand the sting of death and why things happen like this, but you must realize that we are all here to help you during this difficult time. Your support group is miles deep!! Alex and Erika, you are two of the sweetest girls I know. Your smiles and laughs have brightened my day many times. Just pull together now and know that you are such great examples to many of us that are watching you. I love all of you very much.
Love,
Tammy

Kristin,
My mom told me over the phone of the accident. I didn't realize it was your son until I read the information in the paper and saw your name. We graduated the same year from Mt. View. As a mom, I am devastated to hear of the loss of your son. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Celebrate Lance's life and take comfort in knowing that the lives he touched are celebrating knowing him. May Heavenly Father bless and comfort you until your memories once again become reality.

To Lance's Family,
I barely knew Lance, but I can say I did know his smile. That is all you ever saw on his face while he was at Poston. I know how you are felling at this time with the sudden and unexpected death of Lance. But I know that he is with God know and is looking down upon you with his great smile. I can truly say I will miss Lance and will NEVER forget what a positive influence he was on all of us. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I can say that I know that god would not have taken him if he were not ready to return to heven. I wish you luck, and share my condolences with your family at this time. I will keep you in my prayers.

Dear Adams Family,
My heart aches for you all as I lift your family up in prayer. I was in Kristin's dance classes for many, many years and knew Lance from when he was a small boy. I cannot even imagine your pain and sadness right now, but I pray that you will find comfort in knowing that God's plans do not always make sense to us, but someday they will. I have found great peace in Isaiah 57:1-2 "Good people are taken away, but no one understands. Those who do right are being taken away from evil and are given peace. Those who live as God wants, find rest in death." Kent, Kristin, Alex, and Erika, You are each such amazing individuals and have been such a wonderful example to me of what it truely means to be 'family.' I am confident that the Lord will carry you through this struggle. Thank you for the blessing of knowing your amazing son, brother, and friend, Lance. You will all be in my constant prayers.
With love and prayer,

Dear Kent, Kristen, Alex and Erica,
We love you. We have been impressed with your strength during this difficult week. We love Lance and will miss him greatly. His smile could lighten up any room. I will never forget last summer and having him stay with us in Utah. When I took the boys up to the airport he had us all laughing with stories of his Uncles and the rodeo. Lance loved life, he loved his friends, but most of all he loved his family. Thanks for sharing him with us. Kristen, and Kent, please know that we are here for you if you need anything. Don't hestitate to ask.
We Love you, may the Lord's comforting spirit be with you,

Dear Kent, Kristin, Alex, and Erika.
I'm deeply and truely sorry that Lance can no longer be here physicaly. You four did a wounderful job in rasing Lance, and letting him be the boy is still is today. Lance and myself shared a lot of classes together over at Poston Junior High, and I always called him my "Lunch Buddy". Lance always invited me to sit with him at lunch everyday at school. Lance would always tell jokes, and he had the greatest laugh of all. I loved watching him smile and laugh all together. Lance and I used to walk together everyday after first hour over at Mountain View High School. I remember April 11, 2005 just like it was yesterday, and I can NEVER forget the feeling I shared with Lance. He gave me one of the greatest hugs anyone could of giving someone. So, it was almost like a "Good-Bye" hug. And I was so thankful I had my chance to say good-bye. But it's not the last time. I will have my chance once again to see Lance Adams. And I so cannot wait for that day to come! Lance has made such a heavy impact on me, and now it's my turn to give back. Lance loves you four, and would want you all to have the best. After spending many many years with Lance, I know that you Adams DESERVE the best! I have made a web site for the remembrance of Lance but it's still under construction. The address is www.freewebs.com/briannadugan . Please visit it. And if you have any other pictures that I could barrow, or any other information on Lance that I could put up on the site, Please feel free to E-Mail me any time! [email protected]. I just really want to thank you for sharing Lance with me! You've all done well. And you all are being so strong! My prayers are with you along with my love! Thanks for your time!!

Hi. I knew Lance pretty well. I got to have him in my 1st hour seminary class last semester, he was also in my A hour this semester. He was truely a great kid. He was always smiling and he was a great friend to all who came in contact with him. I wish I got to know him more but I don't regret being his friend at all. I will miss him along with all of Mountain View. May you and your family be comforted and know that we will be with him sooner than you think. Thank you for letting me know him at school.

Our family also lost a child to a vehicle accident two months ago. We are sorry for your loss and have prayed for your family. Our twin boys are 10th graders at Mt. View high and knew of Lance. We found this guest book comforting to us as our daughter's friends and family signed in hers. May our children meet in the spirit world. The Farrelly family of Mesa Citrus Heights stake.

My name is Debra Davis and I am in the Kensington ward. I moved in just after the ward split and so I never had the priviledge of meeting you. I didn't know your son personally, but my oldest daughter, who had met Lance at various Stake functions, said Lance was a wonderful young man. My younger daughter takes gymnastics from Debbie and has also been greatly saddened by what happened. As a mother, my heart goes out to you and your family and you have been in our family's prayers. Even though we didn't know Lance, we have all been affected by this tragedy and are especially grateful at this time for our knowledge and testimonies of the gospel. You will continue to be in our prayers. Sincerely, Debra Davis
