Larry Gouger Obituary
Larry Wayne Gouger, 59 passed away on August 23, 2009. His life was his family, his friends, his motorcycle, and his beloved dog Molly. His roaring voice and laughter will ring in our hearts forever. He left us to be with the ones we miss. The skies will roar. Larry is survived by his parents William & Margaret Gouger; wife Barbara Kae Gouger; 4 sons Larry Gouger, William Gouger, Jason Gouger, & Jon Gouger; 5 grandchildren and 2 sisters Margaret Gregg and Patricia Gouger. Visitation will be Friday, August 28, 2009 from 12-2pm at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd. Peoria. Funeral Service to follow at 2pm. Our friend and our brother, you will be sorely missed, thought of often, and never be forgotten. "Let me tell ya somethin . . . "

Happy Birthday little brother.... I love you and I miss you.... You would have been 68 today. You always told me how you hated the thought of getting old! Well I hear when you enter Heaven you are once again young and healthy! .... A lot has happened over the years. Things I sure could have used your support with. It's been hard to be alone after you've had such a bigt, close family. I know how lucky i am to have my Billy and grandbabies. I've learned to be by myself, sometimes I even like it! I get real happy when Reagan and my little great granddaughter Nevaeh Shae spend the night! I wish my Shannon could be here to share the joy Nevaeh brings! She is something else! Precious! So many things in our lives has changed... Happy birthday, Larry! I know I haven't been on here in a very long time,but there are not many days that go by that i don't think about you and miss you,the ache in my heart never leaves,but i do smile more often when i think of you. A smile so big and warm i feel it! you had a way about you, brother,loving to tease and aggravate just to get a reaction! Then if you thought you hurt someones feelings, you'd get all upset and flustered, apologetic and not stop till they forgave you. Your heart was so soft and good you never wanted to hurt anyone. You were a rock for us! everyone could count on Big Whitey! I miss your presence so much! ♡I miss so many of you that left me... i try not to be sad,i know i should think only on the good memories,but my babies keep my heart twisted with pain,still can't bear to look at their pictures or think long on them.i so hope you are there with them all together in a beautiful, wonderous place. If you are with my babies, please wrap your arms around them and give them one of your wonderfull hugs and let them feel my love for them. whisper in their ear" your mommy loves you".There is noone left around me to share my grief..so many gone,my babies, my brothers,my mom and dad,nieces,nephews,friends and others. most of them so young. I now have ghosts of the people i love to keep me company... i sure hope you are all in higher spirits than me! lol i

Larry, I have loved your son scott for 3 years now, he has been my everything and without him I have been lost, I know he really needs you right now. Dad, This is Scott and I sure miss you! I am finally about to get my license back and than I will also get my motorcycle license, I guess since your bike belongs to the 4 of us brothers, I will ride up to the crash site to pay my respects. I miss you so much Dad. Everyday you are in my thoughts and I wish you were here. We missed you on Thanksgiving and we spent the day watching movies of you and the rest of the family from 1989. To My Dad, I'm not sure how to do this, but here goes. I just wanted to thank you for all the things you have done for me in my lifetime. I just want to share some memories with you. I remember the time when we won the father and son pool tournament at Skippers Pool Hall. I was so proud of us that day. I remember all the times we would be at the bar shooting pool and hanging out. You would put your hand on my shoulder and Kind of squeeze just alittle and you would say "Thats My Boy" It was comforting to know that you were always there for me if I needed you. I remember the times we would go fishing at Lake Pleasant together and the camping we would do when we were all kids. I sure am going to miss you from the bottom of my heart, and I would'nt want anybody except you to be my Dad. I have faith in the Lord and I feel that this all happened for a reason. I am determined to make you proud of me and one day we will all be together. I have so much respect and thankfullness for all the things you have taught me.
