Lee Griner Obituary

Lee Edwin Griner, 48, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away on January 21, 2007. Lee grew up in Glendale and attended school in the Glendale School District. He graduated from Glendale High School in 1976. Lee was an airplane mechanic for thirty years, twenty-six years with Northwest Airlines and presently with Timco. He is survived by his wife Debbie Griner, daughter Sarah Griner, parents Joanne and Harold Griner, brother Phillip Griner and a sister Anne Parkhurst. Memorial services are planned for Friday January 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 7102 N. 58th Dr. Glendale, Arizona. Arrangements have been entrusted to Advantage Maryvale Mortuary.

I didn't know Lee, however my husband did, they worked together for a few years. My husband said very good things about who Lee was. But just being an honorable man says it all for me just what type of man he was. My deepest sympathies to his family who has lost such a wonderful person.

I am shocked and saddened to learn of Lee's passing. He hired on with Northwest shortly before I did and we worked together in the Trim Shop for a couple of years. He was one of the most likeable guys I knew at Northwest. My thoughts, prayers and sympathies go out to his wife and family.

Lee was the best. He loved a good joke and his daily cross word puzzles. If you wanted to brighten

I just found out about the passing of Lee. Really really sorry for your loss, Debbie and Sarah. We had alot fun with you guys back in the old days. He was a one of a kind person, to say the least. My heart goes out to the Griner and Myers family. Although, I am a friend of Lee's brother, Phil, and have been since 1974, I do remember Lee. I also remember Lee and Debbie when they first started dating as we all lived in the same neighborhood. I can remember Lee as a gentle, quiet and decent man.
