Rachel,

I am very sorry for you and your family's loss. I know that your father must have been a magnificient person... aside from the wonderful ways you described him, the most compelling evidence is that you are his daughter.

much love to you, Doug and all of your family,

Les was a wonderful man and I felt privileged to be his rabbi and his friend. He was a generous man who loved all people and he was a true champion of justice. He and Kathy always opened their hearts and home to members of the community, especially youth, as well as many Jewish guests and rabbis who needed to be housed within walking distance to Beth El Congregation which was his spiritual home. We'll all miss this man who cannot be replaced. May his memory be a blessing to all!

I am so very sorry about your loss. My family was a neighbor to the Miller family growing up. My parents (Dr. Allan and Joyce Cohen) are very fond of Kathy and Les, as are the four kids in our family. Les was such a special and dear man, and we will remember him always. Please know that my thoughts are with you during this time of sorrow.

I knew Les best as a teen running around his house with his children - Noah, Aaron, and Rachael. We swam, ate hebrew int. hotdogs, and laughed alot. Les always made me feel welcomed like family. I am inspired by his dedication to those close to him and his passion for hard work. Les will live always in my fond memories.

Les's parents and my parents were friends in Euclid, Ohio. Not only was Les my older brother's friend, he was someone I looked up to and admired. When Les moved to Arizona with his family we lost touch. After my brother Joe moved to Phoenix I reconnected with Les. It was great to see him after so many years and meet Kathy and his children. We even spent a day at Disneyland in 1976. Since then we have seen Kathy and Les whenever we have been in the Phoenix area. I will miss him.

Les's parents and my parents were friends in Euclid, Ohio. I have known Les since I was born. Not only was he my older brother Richard's friend he was someone I looked up to and admired. After his family moved to Arizona we lost touch for many years. We connected again when my younger brother Joe moved to Phoenix. We've visited with Kathy and Les whenever we have been in the Phoenix area. The smartest move Les ever made was marrying Kathy.

To The Memory of Uncle Les:
I met Uncle Les after my marriage to his wonderful niece, Kim, and through the two years after our marriage.I witnessed a very kind and devoted husband, father, brother and uncle. He was a strong and passionate man who taught all he touched the meaning of a well lived life. My greastest memory of Les was his getting up to dance with my wife Kim at our wedding, and our discussions while Kim and I lived in Phoenix for a short time.

May his family take comfort in knowing how much he was loved by us,and all that had the honor of knowing him. Rest in peace now Les, knowing you will be missed. We loved you so!

My deepest condolences to all of the Miller family. He was a real gentleman. I remember when I met him years ago how he brought flowers home to Kathy every Shabbat (I have held men up to such high standards ever since)
