When they were little, our family enjoyed Linda bringing her children over to our house all dressed up for Halloween. She was a great mom and faced very debilitating injuries with faith, courage and a determination to overcome. She was an inspiration to me personally and all who knew her.

For those who might not know, Linda (my mom), was such a special person. She had a beautiful family, 3 kids who were all getting bigger, a new position in her career where she had started traveling and she loved, then one day 12/20/91 while Christmas shopping with her loved Mother in Law, they were heading home when a drunk driver crossed the median and hit them head on. The accident killed her MIL, Ramona Thorson, and Linda suffered a TBI (traumatic brain injury) and was in a coma close to year. They didn't if or when she'd wake up and how she would be after. By a miracle she woke up, she awoke and had comprehension of her current life but did not remember much prior. She was left wheelchair bound and unable to speak or eat. Throughout the last 28 years she has slowly worked her way to be able to talk where you can mostly understand her without her having to spell it out (which she did amazing at also). She also learned to color, drive her electric wheelchair using he two digits she could use to grasp, along with working so hard to be able to swallow and eventually being able to eat small amounts again. Her progresses started later in her recovery, but we believe it was her way of showing us how strong and determined she was to get back to a somewhat normal way of living. She did loved her big family so much. And we believe she is restored again in heaven.

*a correction to her obituary, I received the wrong info while writing it, she was born in North Tonawanda, NY. Moved out here to PHX when she was 5. Also I spelled Isaac wrong. And she loved her many, many nieces and nephews, great nieces/nephews

Morris Family, So sorry for your loss. Linda was a great person, funny and kind, great wife, mother and cousin. I am so glad we got to visit with her when we went to Phoenix last year. I was so excited to see her and she was excited to see me.
Many years ago on a Phoenix trip we went white water rafting. What a great experience that was. Tied rafts and coolers together and drank to much. Someone in our group threw up and we watched it float by. YUCK !
Another trip Linda and Michael took us panning for gold. A lot of time spent in the stream for such few flakes.
Then there was a Vegas trip. So much fun and stories for that trip. LOL ( Linda was pregnant with Stephanie )
One of our trips was for Stephanie's Christening.
We are thinking of you all.
Lot's of love always,
Lynne, Steve and Cortney
( your cousins )
