Lois Walton Obituary

Walton, Lois Ann Limle
87, of Tempe, Arizona passed away peacefully on September 30, 2015. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 7, 1927, to the late F. Raymond and Edith (Storch) Limle. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, C. Eugene Walton. She is survived by her children, Russell and Rhonda Walton, their spouses, Ana Walton and Paul Neubauer, and grandchildren, Gabriela, Ariana, and Alex Walton. Lois attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1949. Shortly after graduation she got hired by American Airlines and ultimately became a "stew" (i.e. stewardess). She later went on to meet her future husband, "Gene" a pilot, at AA. Lois spent most of her life in Arizona. She and Gene discovered the beauty of the state in the early 60's. Both traveled extensively, taking full advantage of the perks enjoyed working in the airline industry. When Lois was home, she delighted in volunteering at various hospitals. Additionally, she had a big heart and donated to myriad charities. Every Sunday, during Nascar season, you could always find her watching a race. A private ceremony celebrating her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of sending flowers, please make a donation to The Alzheimer's Association.
