Lucina Gonzalez Obituary

Lucina M Gonzalez, 55, joined our Savior after a long and admirable fight with breast cancer on Jan. 22, 2008. She joins parents Felix and Maria Apolinar Martinez and sister, Maria Elena Martinez. She was born in Guerrero, MX on Aug. 26, 1952. She came to AZ, where she met the love of her life, Ramiro S Gonzalez. They happily married in 1977. Together, they raised 5 children and enjoyed family vacations, camping, hiking and family Sundays. She was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 38 but entered remission. She had been an enterprising stay at home mom. She & her husband later owned and managed a bridal and tuxedo shop in Tolleson, AZ. The cancer recurred 10 yrs later. Since then, she fought with courage, faith, strength and grace. She was beautiful, elegant, creative, and always liked to look her best. She loved her family and wished so much to see her grandchildren grow. She enjoyed watching them play & laugh. She also looked forward to continue adventures at the side of her devoted and loving husband. She leaves behind 3 daughters Miozotiz (Junior), Yelina, Angelica, and 2 sons Gabriel and Ramiro Jr. Her beloved grandchildren Rocco, Gabrielito, Miren & Xavier. Sisters, Guadalupe Castellanos and Margarita Martinez. Brothers, Alejandro and Perfecto Martinez, many cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends. We will truly miss her love her laugh and the way she made us laugh. Visitation and rosary will be held on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008 at Greenwood Memory Lawn, 719 N. 27th Ave, in Phx. Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul church on 51st Ave and Osborn at 11 a.m. on Mon., Jan. 28, 2008 followed by procession to Greenwood Memory Lawn.

God Saw You...
by Unknown

God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "Come to me".
You didn't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

Our depest sympathy to you tio and beautiful cousins. And to our linda tia, may you finally rest in peace. ---FAMILIA ESPINO
