Lyle Beaudin Obituary

Lyle A. Beaudin, 76, of Sun City, AZ passed away September 8, 2005. He was born October 30th, 1928 in Duluth, MN. Known as Beanie by all of his school friends and Sonny by his family, he was raised in Morgan Park, MN, a steel plant town where he worked after high school. He married Shirlee Graham in 1949 and they moved to Arlington, VA for 1 year before moving to Milwaukee, WI. While there, he worked for Globe Steel until the family moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 1959. He worked for Mr. Barret at The Arizona Exterminating Company for 14 years and then went into maintenance at Siemens Corp. His final job was in electrical maintenance for Maricopa County. He used the maintenance skills that he learned in his career to help many of his friends and neighbors in Sun City. He also volunteered thousands of hours at the Olive Center in Sun City. Lyle is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirlee, his sons, Jim (Gayle), Gary (Denise), and Jeff, and his daughter Renee Mobley (Bob). He is also survived by his stepmother Caroline Beaudin, his sisters, Arlene Sullivan and Jan Johnson (Gary) and his brothers John (Deb), Richard (Lynda), George (Milka), and Duane, and grandchildren Nick Beaudin, Max Mobley, Cory and Monique Bleuze. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Genevieve and Willard, his brother Lawrence (Bud), his sisters Kathleen Nys, Lorraine Nelson, and Bette Mashburn, and two grandsons Shaun and Justin Beaudin. Services will be Friday 9/16 at 10:00 AM at St. Clement Catholic Church at 15800 N. Del Webb Boulevard in Sun City with a reception immediately following at the church social hall. Final arrangements were entrusted to Regency Mortuary.
