Manuel Santillan Obituary
Manuel "Rico" Santillan, 85, passed away on August 15, 2016 surrounded by family. He was born on September 22, 1930 in Tucson, AZ. He was a recipient of three Purple Hearts, and POW of the Korean War. After he met and married his loving wife they eventually settled in Superior, AZ where he worked for the mine and eventually became a police officer for the town of Superior, AZ. He was preceded in death by the youngest son Thomas, and beloved wife Deloros whom he loved "To the Moon". He was survived by 5 children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 19, 2016 with visitation one hour prior in St. Francis Catholic Church in Superior, AZ followed by interment in Fairview Cemetery.
