Maria Rubio Obituary
Tempe St. Luke's Hospital. She was born October 13, 1926 in Fierro, New Mexico, and was raised in Superior, Arizona. She married Manuel F. Rubio and moved to her current home of Guadalupe, Arizona where she raised her six children. A life long homemaker, Maria worked in the Frank School cafeteria, and also received her nursing assistant certificate and worked at Scottsdale Osborn Hospital. She was a member of the Guadalupe Senior Center. Maria is survived by daughters, Mary H. Bravo, Lydia Barraza, Theresa R. Rodriguez; sons, Jose T. Rubio, Mario Rubio, and Esteban G. Rubio; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.; 5 nieces. Visitation 5pm to 9pm with Rosary at 7pm, Friday, August 18, 2006 at Resthaven Park Mortuary and Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. Catholic Mass to be held at 9am, Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5445 E. Calle San Angelo, Guadalupe AZ, with internment to follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
