Marian Scofield Obituary

Marian Todd Scofield passed away in Mesa, Arizona on December 21, 2005. She was born January 23, 1921 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Todd and Effie Zachary. She was a graduate of Gerstmeyer High School, in Terre Haute, class of 1938. She and Brooks Scofield were married in 1943. They moved recently from Lake Isabella, California to Mesa, Arizona. Her son Wayne Todd Scofield of Florida preceded her in death. She is survived by husband Brooks Scofield of Mesa, son Brooks Scofield Jr. and his wife Johnie of Chandler, daughter Barbara Belk and her husband Carrol of Colfax, California, daughter Betty Bruckner of Chandler, grandchildren Adrianne Fustich and husband Jeff of Goodyear, Dianne Johnson, Katharine Scofield, and Robert Scofield of Chandler, Arizona, daughter-in-law Susan Scofield and grandson Matthew Scofield of Gulfport, Florida and three great-grandchildren, Austin Johnson, Haylee and Jaclyn Fustich. Her family and friends will dearly miss her. Marian was a 50-year, lifetime member of Eastern Star. She loved her family, reading, movies and road trips. Her family held a private service. Cremation will take place in Mesa, Arizona. Remembrances may be made to the Salvation Army.
