I was a student teacher from ASU at Madison 1 and I had Mrs Webb as my supervisor.
She was such a good mentor and I learned so much from her, especially about kids energy and curiosity.
She was very creative I her approach to teaching and our kindergarteners really loved her. I have thought of her so often, I used skills I learned from her through my entire career.

Dear Stacey
Though shes been gone awhile, I just discovered her obituary tonight. Mrs Webb was my teacher/advisor in 1975 when I did my student teaching in her kindergarten classroom at Madison #1. She was absolutely a wonderful mentor and guide for me, and a true advocate of the teaching profession. I still have some photos of my time in her classroom. After graduation I became a corporate trainer for Smittys and other places. Over the years, Ive thought of her so many times and the concepts she shared. Ive felt her influence in my approach to my adult students. I am forever grateful to have been one of her students. She was a real asset to education in Phoenix.

Dear Stacey,
Your mom was one of the finest teachers I ever saw in action! Besides that, she was an amazing human being. I clearly remembering asking her to come back after her retirement to work with our young teachers in Madison. She was so happy, you could see her eyes light up just as they did with those precious little ones she taught for so many years. She was amazing and such a gift to so many children, parents, young teachers and everyone of us who had the pleasure of working with her. My prayers are with you during this time.

I want to thank Mary Lou for raising such an amazing daughter in Stacey. Stacey has touched the lives of so many students and has had such a positive impact in her years of teaching/coaching - I know that came from the wonderful example she had in her Mama! We all benefitted from that!
Stacey - You and sweet Taeler will be in our thoughts and prayers as you get through this tough time together! All of your CHS family is here for you! Remembering and honoring the life of a great woman - May you rest in peace Mary Lou along with Don ... as you watch over your girls now from Heaven above!

I don't understand why this had to happen to such a wonderful lady. I will forever remember you in so many ways: Christmas cookie parties, gingerbread men, walks at P.V. Mall, dinner at Chili's, making bunny ears for Bryan's first Easter and most of all the smile and the enthusiasm you showed everyday at Simis. I pray that wonderful memories will help comfort all of the friends, students, parents and family that you touched so deeply.

Mrs. Mary Lou Webb was described in her obituary as an A+ Teacher, and I believe this fits her to a T. My name is Lauren Ellis, and I was in her 1st grade classroom around 16 years ago. I am now 22, and still am best friends with Victoria Layton, whom I met in this same classroom 16 years ago. I want to thank Mary Lou for being the A+ teacher she was, and her for being a part of all the memories Tori and I shared during our first years in school, as well as the beginning of our adventure as friends. She was a part of it, and was truly was there at the very beginning :) Thank you for all of the memories, and you will always be remembered!!! p.s. Victoria wanted to express her deepest condolences as well... we both love you!
