Mary Louise (Fenske) Mahnke, 79, passed away on October 30, 2007. She was born in Rochester, Minnesota on April 19, 1928. She married Raymond Mahnke on July 11, 1948. She was a bank teller at the First National Bank of Rochester for many years until the family moved to Arizona in 1961. Mary loved spending time with her children and grandchildren in addition to traveling whenever she was able. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease many years ago and lived the last several years in Encore Paradise Valley a nursing home. She continued to think of others even when passing with her generous gift of being an organ donor. In addition to her husband, she is survived by seven children: Dennis (Judy), Dean (Patricia), Duane (Karen), Denise, Debra Wallace (Mike Hodge) Deanna Eisen (Jon), and Douglas. She also leaves 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by a brother Leonard of Phoenix and a sister Arlene Holtum of Yonkers, New York. She was predeceased by her parents, 6 sisters and 3 brothers. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E Greenway Rd. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Mary's name to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Hospice of the Valley.
