It has been so many years since I have seen you all and am saddened to learn of your family's loss. Matt was a wonderful childhood friend and I recently had the opportunity to catch up with Matt earlier this year after running into him at a restaurant. I am so sorry for your loss and pray that God continues to surround all of your family with love compassion and support during this difficult time.

Dear Jacobs Family:
I knew Matt for almost 10 years. We worked together at Romic. When he left to take a job with RMCAT/BELFOR, he became my customer, then in 2007 I started to work for him at BELFOR. He was the best boss I ever had but more importantly he was my friend. I will truly miss him.

Dear Jacobs Family,
I worked w/ Matt at Belfor as well as my husband Chadd. Matt has done many kind and considerate things for us as a family. I not only considered him my boss but my friend. He was an understanding man and a very nice man. His laugh was contagious! I will miss him dearly and wish you and your family nothing but the best. My condolences and prayers will be with you forever...

Jacobs Family- Matt was a pillar in the environmental community. Soft spoken, sincere, personable, humble, generous-he led with his actions, and people followed. This world was a better place with him here. I know we are all asking God to give us a little explanation on this one. He will be missed. May you find peace. Love, Mike & Cheryl Ford

Dear Amy & Tom:
There are no words to describe what you and your family must be feeling and going through at this time. And though the words, "I am so sorry for your loss and grief," don't "fix" anything...please know that I am truly so very sorry for the tremendous loss you are all experiencing. If there is anything at all that I can do to be of assistance, in any manner, please reach out and let me know.
Our deepest condolences,
Tamera & Howard Shanker

To the Jacobs Children,
I worked with your dad for many years in the environmental industry. I remember meeting with him last year at ASU because we were co working on a project to move their lab. He had made fun of me, because I was lost and trying to find the parking garage where I was to meet him that day. When we finally met up, he proceeded to "run" across the campus to the meeting and I attempted at following behind in my high heels! What a great guy he was. We laughed about the fact that he has a Taylor and a Chase as do I. And bragged up his kids every time we spoke. He was always my "go to guy" when it came to questions I might have about the waste industry. He was so smart and so eager to help us. We lost a great man, great father, husband, brother and son. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I wish we could have been there for Matt in his deepest hour, but we are there for you all now. Please let us know if you should need anything.
Our Deepest Condolences,

Dear Amy, Kali, Taylor, Austin, and Chase,
It breaks my heart to here that Matt has passed. Although I never met him, I did know how great of a family you have, which showed me not only how much you all loved each other, but also the amazing strength and character of Matt and Amy to raise such great family. I cannot imagine how difficult this must be for you all, and wanted to let you know how sorry i am and that this has also hurt our family deeply. When faced with the most difficult of decisions, the strength and generosity Matt and Amy showed at a young age allowed my parents to fulfill their dream and start a family, something we are all eternally grateful for. Matt will be deeply missed, and I send my heartfelt condolences to you all.
