Michael Cheknas Obituary
Michael Peter Cheknas, 66 of Phoenix Arizona passed away September 17, 2017. He was a loving brother and uncle. Michael was a painter in the valley for about 40 years. He is survived by 2 nephews Nick Ketcios, Tom Giatron and 1 niece, Joanne McIntire and also a great uncle to 3 boys. Visitation will be at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 East Indian School Rd., Wednesday Oct. 4 2017 from 7:30 P.M. – 9:00 P.M., Funeral Services at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral 1973 E Maryland, Thursday, Oct. 5 2017 at 10:00 A.M.

Nick, Tommy and family. So sorry for your loss. Thank you all for taking the time to have a funeral service for your Uncle Mike. It was a nice service. I know Mike is much happier now that he is with his mom and sister. He missed his sister so much that he would call me at times just to talk. I'm glad he is out of his pain and misery and in a happier place. May God bless you all. Again, my condolences.
