Michael Flynn Obituary
78, died peacefully March 14th in his home. He was happily married to Lorraine for 41 years. He retired from Mountain Bell (Qwest) after 32 years of service. He was a Phoenix native and served in the US Navy. He was instrumental in starting the St. Patrick's day parade and active in the Irish community. Mike and Lorraine owned and operated Irish Imports at Flynn's on Camelback for over 20 years on the same property where Mike was born. Michael is survived by his wife Lorraine, his sons Rory, Kelly and Michael Jr. and his daughters Shawn and Madeleine. He was predeceased by his daughter Colleen and his son Kevin. He leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Viewing will be at Palm Funeral Home at 10761 W. Grand Ave in Sun City from 11 am to 1 pm Saturday, March 20th followed by the services. Burial will be held at Resthaven Park Cemetery 6290 W. Northern Ave in Glendale. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans fund or to the Arizona Humane Society.
