Michael Wogan Obituary
22, of Scottsdale, Ariz., passed into eternal rest on September 16, 2011. Born Jan. 4, 1989, Michael was a lifelong resident of Scottsdale, where he attended Horizon High School and formed his first technology company at age 16. His entrepreneurial pursuits led him to graduate magna cum laude with a finance degree from Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business. He was vice president of Arizona Helping Hands and an avid charitable supporter. Michael is preceded in death by grandparents Thomas Hoogervorst, Joseph Wogan, and LeeAnn Mahoney Wogan. He is survived by his loving parents William Wogan and Anne Wogan; brothers William, Jonathan, and James; his grandparents Anne Shirley Hoogervorst Chlebus and John Chlebus; step-siblings Clay, Kassi, and Katie Stewart; step-mother Ellen Stewart Wogan, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A Rosary service will be held Thursday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. at The Catholic Community of Blessed Sacrament, 11300 N. 64th St., Scottsdale. A Mass celebrating his life will take place Friday, Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament, followed by a private reception. All events will be closed to the media. In remembrance, donations may be made to the "Michael Wogan Memorial Fund" at Wells Fargo.

Michael was the kid you see. He was fashionable and very bright, he was one special child son to his father. I love Michael more than I can explain/

Dear Anne, Bill, William, Jonathon, and James,
We send our heart felt sorrow on the loss of Michael. He gave us a needed assist to locate an item at the Best Buy and just saying Hi at the bagel shop are our personal memories of a super nice guy. We send our good thoughts and prayers to the family.

Dear members of the Wogan family,
I am writing to express my condolences for the loss of your son and brother, Michael.
Michael was a student in my ENG 302 (Business Writing) class at Arizona State University a few semesters ago. I remember him vividly as one of my most talented students who wrote excellent business documents due to his creativity, his analytical mind, his sense of structure, and his attention to detail. I also admired his positive outlook on life and his courage in the face of adversity.
I will keep Michael and your family in my prayers.
