Phoenix - Mickie I . Zatulove
December 13, 1932- October 7, 2018
Mickie I. Zatulove born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Sol and Leona Isaac. In 1957, Mickie married Paul M. Zatulove. Micki is survived by her husband, Paul; children Tracy Z. Levy, and Brett I Zatulove; Grandchildren Alexandra Levy Tauber, Kyle Levy, Madeline Levy, Brian Zatulove, and Lauren Zatulove. Mickie was preceded in death by her brother, Alphonse.
Mickie graduated from LSU and Sophia Newcomb College. She taught at New Orleans public schools and was Director of Temple Beth Am Nursery School for 13 years in Buffalo, N.Y.
Mickie moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1978. She received a Master's Degree in 1982 in Social Work at ASU and worked at Jewish Family Services. Mickie served on the Board of Consortium for the Homeless, Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix, American Jewish Committee, and Temple Beth Israel. She chaired Brandeis Book and Author Luncheon, Kivel Ball, and Arizona Opera League Ball. Mickie was President of Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority. She was also a member 5 Arts Circle and a Brandeis Life Member in Phoenix. Mickie enjoyed bridge, golf, friends, and being with her beloved grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren were the jewels in her crown.
Family will be receiving friends October 10th and 11th at Sagewood Oasis Building 4555 E. Mayo Blvd, Phoenix, AZ,85050 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.
