Nathan Barcy Obituary

Nathan Barcy

Scottsdale - If you knew him, you loved him. Nathan Barcy left this world Saturday, February 24th at the young age of 34 in Scottsdale AZ. Born August 30, 1983 in Houston, Texas and grew up in Buffalo, N.Y. Being a Dad was his greatest joy and he was Dad we all wish we had. Nathan loved his three young girls Aspen age 10, Navy age 7 & Sutton age 3, so much. He would want his girls to remember him singing them his favorite song "Don't Worry, Be Happy", changing the words to other songs and remember him making them an extravagant breakfast, all the times they played dress up and when they painted his nails. He went to work that way because it was important they know they did a great job. Nathan made a room come alive, he loved people, he was very charismatic, he could talk about any subject, loved spending time learning new things (was a walking encyclopedia) and loved experiencing life. He enjoyed laughing and being spontaneously silly. He always had a love of music and Nathan would dance even when there was no music playing. He would give you a hug and kiss you on the head for no reason. Nathan was so full of energy that he could never sit still but he was so supportive he centered and connected with you and always had the best advise. He thought way out of the box and was beyond a visionary. He was passionate about everything and could get passionately angry if something was unfair. He never could find his phone and he forgot to plug it in because social media was unimportant to him. He lived fully. He had a wild and passionate relationship with his wife, Malia Barcy that is impossible to replace. Nathan was the apple of his Mom's eye. A piece of his only sister's heart is missing that she can't fill. His passing is a sudden devastating loss, there are no words to describe how deeply he will be missed by his family, friends, clients and co-workers. Nathan leaves behind his parents Rebecca Barcy and Daniel Barcy. Special consideration is given for Robert Mapes and the Mapes family. Wishing we had more time to enjoy his laughter, sister Amanda Barcy, brother-in-law Jeremiah, their children Kada, who was his close friend, Hayden, Bella and Walt. He leaves behind his furry friend Honey. Our family in others states around the U.S. and over-seas are in shock but all have funny and silly stories to share. Nathan's service working at I Need An Angel Home Care Seniors and Caregivers will be greatly missed. He was a long time registered organ donor and also wanted his body donated to medical science. We are told he will help 40 people and countless physicians education.

The Celebration of his Life will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Community 10815 N 84th St, Scottsdale, AZ 85260, Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 at 11:30 am.

Donations can be made for the three young girls who will miss out on being raised by their loving father to https://www.gofundme.com/nathanbarcy

I still remember you were nice and you liked being around children so much. I remember you made us good food. I remember you read us stories and changed your voice and I laughed too. I try to remember being kind like you.
