Nicky,
Though years have passed I will never forget the kindness you showed me or the laughter you brought to my heart. When we met on Long Island you were the coolest Ice Cream Man this kid had ever met. Growing older, I appreciate the time a young adult such as yourself took with me. I will not mourn your passing, but celebrate your life. Your memory will forever bring a smile to my lips as you are so intertwined with my youth. To all the Speros, Liza and the children I extend my deepest sympathies. But above all I extend my appreciation at having had the pleasure of knowing Nicky. God rest his soul and comfort the loved ones who must carry on in his absence.

My love and sympathy to all the Spero family. Nicks passing takes a piece of my heart away. Not too many people can say that they have close friends but Nick was one of those people you couldn't help but be close to! He will be missed and forever loved!
