Pamela Merchant Obituary

Merchant, Pamela
At 10 AM on Monday the 19th of April 2010 the sunshine left my soul forever. It is my sad duty to announce the loss of my beloved wife Pamela Merchant. Pam is mourned by her children, Stacey Horton and Kyle Severance Ashley and Rebecca Merchant, Her sisters Barbra Brannon and Linda Lamont. She will always be missed by her grandchildren Cameron and Daniel Horton. Pam was born on Sept. 8 1955 to Dorothy and Charles Yocom in Marshall Texas. The many people the had the privilege to know her will remember as a kind, honest, and decent human being. She could always find the good in anyone and any situation and spent almost 30 years trying to teach that to me. Good by my wife I will always love you. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

The world has lost a what is sadly becoming a very rare kind of person. Pam came into my life via my best friend Danny Merchant. And I will always remember her smile, kindness and sense of humor. She had an incredible HUGE heart and shared it with everyone. I can honestly say I would not be where I am today, without her and Danny. You are loved and will be missed dearly.
