Pat,
Remember I gave you "The Art of the Deal" (per your request) and forgot to sign it? Well he became the 45th President of the united States! Long story...
Always,
Jack

Pop,
You taught me how to use an ATM, how to get $15.00 worth (on the nose) of gas, and how to appreciate the good things in life.
I will never forget being 15 and waking up at 5am to ride my bike to my first job. Many days you awoke and insisted on driving me to work, just because. When I would thank you for your help, you would just say, "That's what you do for your kids."
Thank you for being a great Dad and role model to me. Your people skills, kindness and generosity are traits I will always try and follow. I am sorry you were in so much pain for so long, and I am glad that now you feel no pain.
I will miss you every day, and will never forget you. I am sure by now you are running heaven and getting into spirited debates about how things are, and how they SHOULD be.
Love,
AMP
P.S. Interesting that on the right of this page is a Mont Blanc pen, I think you would approve.

Pasquale,
I am heartbroken to hear about your passing. I've been wanting to stop by your shop to say hello and introduce you to my new baby girl. I will never forget you or our lovely conversations. You're truly a good-hearted, geniuine person and that is rare! I will miss stopping by and chatting with you and Timmy. Just know that you will always be in my prayers.
Love, Megan

I WISH TO EXPRESS MY CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF PPP FROM SOS (AS I KNEW HIM)...AND "PEN" A FEW WORDS IF I MAY...
PAT WAS SIMPLY THE BEST SALESMAN I EVER KNEW....BUT MORE THAN THAT...HE JUST OOZED LIFE, POLITICAL OPINIONS, PHILOSOPHY, EVEN STOCK MARKET WISDOM...ALWAYS INSISTED THAT I STOP AND SHARE A CHINESE PU-PU PLATTER WHEN THINGS JUST GOT TOO STRESSFUL AND COMPLICATED...
ALTHOUGH WE WERE NOT THAT FAR APART IN AGE, HE WAS LIKE A FATHER FIGURE TO ME AT TIMES..ALWAYS TRIED TO SEE THE POSITIVE IN EVERYTHING... TRIED TO STEER ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION...
HE PIONEERED MONT BLANC PENS (AND MANY OTHER EXCLUSIVE LINES) TO THE VALLEY OF THE SUN...I AM SORRY THAT I NEVER GOT TO TELL HIM I FLEW OVER THE PEAK ONCE IN MY WORLD TRAVELS AND THOUGHT OF HIM...I REMEMBER SEEING HIM COME TO WORK WITH THE CHARCOAL COLORED CROSS ON HIS FORHEAD ON ASH WEDNESDAY ONCE...I HAD NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE..I AM TRUTHFULLY SORRY THAT HE NEVER GOT TO MEET/SEE MY DAUGHTER...WE WENT TO THE PEN STORE ONCE ON MY RETURN FOR MY LANDLORD DUTIES IN PHOENIX BUT IT WAS AFTER BUSINESS HOURS...SARAH JUST RECENTLY GRADUATED COLLEGE AS A R.N. AND WORKS IN A HOSPITAL...OF COURSE I GAVE HER MY MOTHERS MONT BLANC PEN AS ONE OF HER GIFTS...PAT WAS JUST ONE OF THOSE READERS DIGEST'S MOST UNFORGETTABLE CHARACTERS..A TRUE GENTLEMAN AND INNOVATOR...VORACIOUS READER AND BIBLIOPHILE...SHOWMAN AND INDIVIDULAIST (WOW COULD HE PUT SOME CLOTHING COMBINATIONS TOGETHER LOL)....
HE LIKED TO CALL ME JAKEY...AND IF YOU HAD/DESERVED A PET NAME FROM PAT...THEN YOU TRULY WERE HIS FRIEND...
I WILL MISS PPP, PAT , PASQUALE...REMEMBER HIM BY ANY NAME YOU CHOOSE....CERTAINLY NO ONE WILL EVER FORGET HIM THAT KNEW HIM..
WRITTEN WITH FOND AFFECTION AND LOVE,
JACK (JAKEY) SAMOWITZ

Pasquale, I don't even know where to begin. You have been such a center point in my life for the last 10 years. I have so many memories of you sitting behind your big desk, candle burning, pens scattered about. And who can forget the purple carpet and green chairs. I sat in those chairs hundreds of times over the years. You were always smiling as I walked in the door. You always had something to say, and the words were always of importance for me. You were there for so much of my life, in good and bad times. You welcomed everyone I bought by to say hello to you. You were the high light of my son Christopher's day, when he could stop by my job. He would always say "please can I go visit Pat"..I am sure it wasn't always about the candy bowl in your office either. (wink).
I will never forget all the stories you shared with me, like how you met your wonderful wife Mary and how she loved her power tools..You were such a proud father. Your children were your life. I have had the pleasure of meeting many of them over the years, like Patty "the princess", Dominic the brains, Rocco and Ricco, and Anthony & his dog Fozzie. I never met Page, Andrea or Morgan, but I felt as if I knew them.
You on the other hand, knew my sister, my parents, and my in-laws and when they would stop by you always spoke so highly of me to them all. Because of you I have met so many wonderful people, and I know each one of them will have a great story to share about you.
We have all been blessed, just because we knew you.
You had the biggest heart and knew that giving was so much more than receiving and you always gave so much to us all. I believe in my heart that you truly meet people for a reason and I know God bought me to you. You will always have a special place in my heart Pat..
Thank you so much for all your love and support. I will miss not hearing your voice & seeing your smile... I won't miss the camera tho!! I know you have alot to do there in Heaven, but I hope you will still keep an eye out for me down here..
All my love,
Jon Messer

Pasquale,
Thanx for the good times and your support. Your kindness and generous nature was hidden by your curmudgeonly demeanor. You will be sorely missed by all who knew you.
